“As I was brought up on a farm, I have been very interested in home activities and animals. I wanted to be involved with youth and adults, so I became a 4-H Organization leader with a club of six members and two leaders that has grown to 89 members and 31 leaders. For 60 years I have encouraged youth to be involved in local, county and state-wide events, including food show, public speaking, demonstrations and fashion revue. I have been active in other organizations that encourage and sponsor 4-H – N.H. Jersey Cattle Club, Make it Yourself With Wool Coordinator, Farm Bureau, Catamount Grange and Extension Groups.”
