Molly Spearman – National 4-H Hall of Fame

Molly Mitchell Spearman currently serves as Deputy Superintendent for Governmental Affairs with the South Carolina Department of Education. She was elected to four terms in the South Carolina House of Representatives and worked for eighteen years as a public-school music teacher and school administrator. Her life has been filled with community service including terms as Chairman of Girls Nation and the National Girls State Committee, State President of the American Legion Auxiliary, and thirty years of service with the Palmetto Girls State Program.

My 4-H Story

Molly plays her organ for the South Carolina State Fair Parade of Champions. Molly was the reigning State and National Guernsey Queen.

Molly as Guernsey Queen helps to present the Governor’s Trophy, the highest showmanship award presented to a youth at the State Fair.

A musician, Molly entertains throughout the state and is organist and choir director at her church.
