Jim Kolbe is a long time and high ranking U.S. Representative from the 5th District of Arizona. A 4-H’er from Santa Cruz County Arizona, Kolbe began his political career as a 15 year old page for Senator Barry Goldwater in 1958. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and a graduate of Stanford and Northwestern Universities.
Congressman Kolbe chairs the Foreign Operations committee and serves on the Interior and Commerce committees. Jim Kolbe is a favorite Arizona 4-H Alumnus of all groups who visit Washington DC. He is instrumental in educating Arizona youth about their role in society and the importance of citizenship involvement and processes.
