Jean Gulden has demonstrated remarkable leadership and commitment to the nation’s youth by her initiation and stewardship of the horse helmet safety video “Every Time…Every Ride”. This video has been distributed to all 50 states, has received commercial television time in Great Britain and aired on many U.S. PBS stations. With minimal professional staff support, Jean raised over $35,000 to produce the video, wrote the script, and co-produced the video.
Truly, Jean Gulden is an empowered volunteer who has made 4-H safer for thousands of young people. She has also been honored with the National Partner-In-4-H Award which is 4-H’s highest award presented to individuals, businesses, organizations, associations, foundations, groups, government bodies and other institutions who have worked closely with the Cooperative Extension System in support of the 4-H program nationally.
