Jennifer Nettles, a Grammy Award-winning artist, and multi-platform entertainer. Her career spans over 30 years, during which she has achieved remarkable success as a singer, songwriter, recording artist, actress and TV host.
She has garnered widespread acclaim and accolades, including three Grammy Awards, six ACM Awards, five CMA Awards, and five ASCAP Awards. Her musical achievements and unwavering commitment to philanthropy have also earned her prestigious honors such as the Human Rights Campaign’s Ally for Equality Award and the Artist Impact Award from Lincoln Center.
Jennifer’s deep connection to 4-H stems from her early involvement with the performing arts group, Clovers & Co where her passion for the performing arts began. She was a 4-H officer, attended Project Achievement annually and served as a Camp Counselor as a collegiate 4-H’er.
Jennifer has been the National 4-H Spokesperson for more than a decade, lending her influential voice and platform to various 4-H initiatives. She has actively participated in endeavors such as the Clover Country CD, the 4 for 4-H series, the Shop 4-H clothing line and has served as Chair of the GA 4-H Gala. Jennifer’s commitment to diversity and inclusion shines through in the powerful 4-H PSA “Opportunity for All.”
Jennifer’s dedication to 4-H goes beyond mentorship; she has received the esteemed National 4-H Alumni Medallion, contributed as a donor, and served as a 4-H Luminary. Her profound influence continues to inspire and guide future generations within the organization, illuminating a path of success and empowerment.
