Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa received her BA in political science and pre-law from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her law degree from George Washington University. She holds a certificate from Harvard University’ Kennedy School of Government’ Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government. Del Papa served on the University of Nevada System Board of Regents for six years.
She was the first woman elected as Nevada Secretary of State and Attorney General. She chairs the Nevada Domestic Violence Prevention Council and is a member of the National Advisory Committee for the Trust of Public Lands. She is Co-Chair for the State and Local Action Task Force for the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy and on the Board of Trustees for Sierra Nevada College.
