Organizing 4-H activities started for Delores as a young girl. Her 4-H career began as a member in 1941 when she started the Jadis 4-H Club as a 9th grader. Delores took part in dairy, garden, and leadership projects. In 1946 she was hired as county 4-H club advisor and worked in Roseau County as the 4-H Educator until retirement in 1993. Delores impacted many lives through her work in 4-H. Her direction helped many generations of Roseau County young people.
On September 5, 1993, at 4-H Day at the Minnesota State Fair, Delores Andol received her Honorary Bachelor’ degree from the University of Minnesota. She had worked as the 4-H Educator in Roseau County for over 47 years.
