No voice in agriculture and education over the past 65 years has earned more respect than that of C. A. Vines. No person has served as a better role model to inspire Arkansas’ youth or educators. Mr. Vines’ career was marked by an ability to quietly reason and move the minds of four generations of fellow Arkansans.
His guidance has been a continuing force in building our state’ top-ranking system for agricultural production and education. During his career, he worked in almost every possible capacity within Extension from Assistant County Agent to Vice President for Agriculture.
