Our Purpose
What we do
The National 4-H Hall of Fame was established in 2002 as part of the Centennial Project of the National Association of Extension 4-H Agents (NAE4-HYDP) in partnership with the National 4-H Council and USDA, National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). It recognizes and celebrates those people who have made an extraordinary impact on 4-H and the lives of millions of members.
How we Work
The National 4-H Hall of Fame honors 4-H volunteers, extension professionals and staff employees, donors and others who have made a significant impact on the 4-H program and/or 4-H members through the contribution of time, energy, financial resources, etc.
This work starts with nominations from the community, and culminates in annual inductions of 14-16 honorees. Those interested in submitting a nomination should review the requirements and process outlined on our Nominations page.
